1. Seek the Approval of God
And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Matthew 25:20-21

Not all comments made by people are worth trusting. You will be flattered in life. Hearts are deceitful and desperately wicked. They will say one thing and mean another.

Learn to walk and do everything as one doing it unto God. You will be frustrated when you work to win the approval and favor of man. Not many people are easy to please. As you walk with God it will become more important to receive His approval than that of people. No better words can soothe your heart to restful sleep than to hear the Holy Spirit whisper, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
