7. God Will Stand with You

Is your heart fearful and anxious today? Are you afraid of unknown outcomes? Is your heart wondering what to do and what to expect? Do not fret. God will stand with you.
God takes full responsibility for His children. When He delivered His chosen race from their land of bondage—Egypt, into the place allocated for their rest—Canaan, He stood with them. He led them through the dark wilderness where they were faced with numerous troubles and uncertainty. God’s children had every reason not just to fear but to despair. Nevertheless, God neither left them at the mercy of their enemies nor to the seeming fate of their circumstances. He walked with them and encompassed them with His holy presence and mighty hand of power. God is doing the same for you today.

But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Isaiah 43:2

True! Challenges are many, and there is every reason why you should fear, but that is not God’s choice for you. Each reason only increases your fear. Fight against yourself and side with God. Just as you trust to see the night usher in day every morning, you can trust God to stand with you faithfully.

It is God who has redeemed you from the bondage of fear. He has called you by name unto Himself. He will be with you when you pass through deep waters and diverse troubles. He will be present to protect you through the fires of life.
