Don’t Fear the Battle
Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. 2 kings 6:16-17
It is easy to see yourself as a grasshopper whose efforts are insignificant when it comes to fighting the devil. The truth is, you can effectively engage the enemy in the battles he brings your way because you never fight alone. If God were to open your spiritual eyes, you too, would realize that you are surrounded with heavenly hosts and divine power.
God fights our battles every day. None of the enemy’s moves takes Him by surprise. You are God’s priority and He will not leave you to be humiliated by the enemy unless you make the choice. Stay with God. Embrace your training and witness God’s presence and power as you stand your ground in battle.
