A litmus test for God's presence:
2. God’s presence reveals the heart of man. In His presence, you see yourself for who you really are and not what people think you are. Like the prophet Isaiah, when He saw the Lord, high and lifted up, he could not help but cry out, “Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.” Isaiah 6:5.
3. God’s presence brings worship. As you behold his majesty and bask in the brightness of His love, you cannot afford to be indifferent. No one can experience God at a high magnitude and be calloused. People have different responses. Even those who are not given to strong or overt emotions will experience a quiver from the heart, the liver, or kidney deep within.
