You Are Blessed
You are blessed of God. Though the Lord is high and lofty, He takes us into His account and meets us at our points of need. He does not break a bruised reed, neither does He quench a smoking flax. Yes, God does not treat us as our sins deserve. You are blessed of the Lord. Take time and consider:

1. God is your help. You have access to Him every day. He will never be too busy to help you. He is always on time despite the circumstances that prevail. “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” Psalm 121”1-4

2. You can call on God at any time. Take advantage of it. You cannot carry life’s burdens alone. He invites those who labor and the heavily burdened to get rest from Him. “I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.” Psalm 34:4-6

3. You have God on your side. You are on the winning team. “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things.” Romans 8:31-32

4. God goes before you every day. He is your shield and rear guard. “The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.” Psalm 121:6 “And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8

5. God watches over you every day. Your best protection at its best will fall short of protecting you. “The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” Psalm 121:7-8 Yes, it is God who gives His angels charge to take care of you. “The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.” Psalm 34:7

6. God is mindful of you. It is God who ensures that you are well taken care of. It is God who blesses you. It is God who blesses your children and family. “Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield. The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great. The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children. Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth.” Psalm 115:11-15

7. God crowns your life with success. It is God who gives health and the ability to work. It is God who blesses the work of your hands and causes what you do to succeed as He creates conducive environment for bountiful results. “When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the Lord thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.” “And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.” Psalm 90:17 “The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them.” Deuteronomy 28:12-13

These are not blessings for which we stop to thank God most of the time. We don’t pay Him for them, yet He lavishes them on us day in day out. REJOICE. YOU ARE BLESSED BY GOD. Bless Him.
