1. Taste and Enjoy God
God wants you to enjoy your Christian walk with Him.
When the children of Israel travelled from Egypt to the Promised Land, they faced the great unknown with uncertainty. The wilderness stretched vastly before them and many were their fears. There were times when they forgot that God who delivered them with an outstretched great arm of power was with them.
Our Christian walk is not different today. Challenges are many and so are uncertainties. It is easy to focus on the surrounding troubles that overshadow the great Savior until you miss God’s desired victory for your life. God has not changed. God wants you to enjoy your journey with Him.
O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD. What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? Psalm 34:8-12
Taste and see for yourself that God is good. Trust and hold Him in reverence and witness for yourself that God takes care of His own. He will not withhold anything good when you seek and delight in Him. Those who endeavor to follow His teachings enjoy life to the fullest.
God watches intently for the righteous. His ears are attentive to their cry. He satisfies them. He is close when you are brokenhearted. He cares and carries you when the journey gets rough and tiring. Taste and see that God is good. Enjoy your relationship with the Almighty God.
