God Works in Us
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Philippians 2:13

God works within His children equally. He works on our wills and helps us to desire to obey Him. He also helps us by growing a desire to do as He wants. This spiritual wooing happens to every child of God. Those who respond to God’s wooing step out to trust and follow Him. Every day they listen and obey makes it easier for them to hear and follow in the days to come. They grow. Those who do take these steps remain in spiritual diapers longer than expected. They remain spiritually malnourished and their growth is stunted.

Do not delay your spiritual growth because of neglect or by being caught up in busy schedules which leave no room for God. Your spirit will become desensitized to God’s prompting if you do not take action when He speaks and moves. God has the right to withdraw His help when we are in constant resistance.
