Do you know that God has laid down wonderful principles by which to abide and live a fulfilled life? Let us explore them as we grow in our Christian walk.
1. God Watches Over His Word to Perform It
For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Hebrews 6:13-15
God will do as He has promised. None of the good promises He has made to you will fail. God is not like a man who may promise and forget, lie about it, or even lack the ability to do it. You have no reason to fear.
When God promised in Genesis 22:17 saying, “In blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven…” Abraham was faced with a situation that was humanly impossible. But because nothing is impossible with God, Sarah bore a son to Abraham in their old aged. . Hold onto the consolation that your faith is anchored in a Savior who cannot lie. He will come through for you as promised.

2. God’s Word Will Preserve You
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4
Embedded within the laws of God’s Word are lifetime precepts by which man has to live. Nothing will give you greater freedom, joy, contentment, and ultimate fulfillment in life than living according to God’s Word. It is easy to search for answers everywhere else except the Word of God.
God’s Word will give you clear direction on what cause of action to take. It will warn you when you are going astray. It will guide you back to the right path and give you knowledge and wisdom with which to operate as you make decisions. His Word will protect you from unseen snares and paths that lead to destruction. It will keep you from sin with its deadly scars and consequences. It will keep your heart tender with mercy and compassion while maintaining a live conscience. It will give you peace in the night and soundness in your body. It will preserve you.

3. God’s Eye is on the Righteous
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. 2 Chronicles 16:9
Every day, God’s eyes move and search back and forth throughout the whole world as He looks for people who have perfect hearts toward Him so He can show Himself strong on their behalf. The opposite is true. God looks for those whose hearts are haughty and proud before Him so He can frustrate their plans and humiliate them. He disappoints the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprises and turns the ways of the wicked upside-down Job 5:2, Psalm 146:9.
There are no regrets for those who align themselves with the living God. God watches over the affairs of the righteous. He shines His face on the upright at heart Psalm 11:7. Pattern your heart after God and He will not forsake you. You will enjoy His browsing eye of concern as you become the envy of the wicked.

4. God Delivers His Children
The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:7, 17-18
The children of Israel were held in bondage under hard and cruel labor for about four hundred years. God could not keep silent as their cries ascended to Him. He sent Moses to Egypt saying, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them Exodus 3:7-8.
God’s angels surround and minister to those who fear the Lord. God knows what faces you. He sees the desperation and cannot keep silent as your cries ascend to Him. He knows your sorrow and He will deliver you. You can count on Him to be faithful.

5. God Fights for His Children
Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. Exodus 14: 13-14
The Egyptian army pursed Israel as she journeyed through the wilderness. When she came to the Red Sea, God dried the waters and she passed on dry land. Egypt pursued Israel using the special highway that God has miraculously laid for His children. It is recorded that “in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians Exodus 14:24-25. God drowned the Egyptian army.
Fear not. God will fight for you. Be still and know that He is God.
