Delight in God

Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Psalm 37:3-6

Delight yourself in God. Let your drive in life be to please God greatly to the extent that He is deeply satisfied with your pursuit and motives. Pour your love to God and watch His response.

God’s promise will stand for you. Your desires will be granted. This is because they will be in line with God’s good pleasure for your life. God will fight for you. He will provide and feed you as He watches over you with His righteous eye. He will vindicate you. Those who have learned the true secret to fulfillment in life have tested God and found Him true and trustworthy.

Clear the Clutter

Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. Isaiah 59:1-3

God is eager to listen and answer when His children call. God wants to come to your rescue. He is ready to act on your behalf. There is one thing that stops His mighty hand from moving. One thing hinders you from experiencing His move in your life and in the world around you. Sin.

Sin makes God turn His face from you. Sin cuts you from God. Those lies, the grumbling, the defilement, and your endeavored scheming to do evil cause God to sniff and turn away in disgust. It robs you from experiencing God and keeps you under the relentless hand of your enemy. Clear the sin clutter and follow God.

God Convicts, Satan Condemns

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:9-10

Be careful to whom you listen. God convicts you and woos your heart to Him. Satan, conversely, condemns and accuses you. He plagues you with criticism as he mocks and beats you to shreds. Satan makes you feel worthless and hopeless. He works to keep you from getting back to God. Remember, he is the accuser of brethren.
You are God’s child. You are loved and accepted. God has clear formula for getting to Him when you miss the mark. He is faithful to forgive when you repent. Are you under conviction or condemnation?

Be Molded by God

Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel. Jeremiah 18: 3-6

You are a like a bundle of treasure before God. You possess great potential in the hands of a mighty God. There is no telling what God can make of you let alone do with you as you walk and yield to Him
.
Those who display the splendor of God are men and women with passions like yours but they surrender and allow God to prune and shape their lives into what they could never imagine. You are God’s candidate for great things.
