Keep Yourself Pure

"They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth" John 17:16-17.

We are sanctified with the Word of God. The truth of God’s Word sets us free to live clean in a dirty world. Make it a priority to take a spiritual bath each day by reading the Word of God. It will show out hidden dirt and point you to the cleansing fountain. It will create in you a desire to not only get it off but to keep away from getting dirty again. God’s Word will make you sensitive to what displeases the Lord.

Take a good look at who you are and what you really look like by reading God’s Word today. The Word of God is a true mirror. It will reveal the truth in love without any camouflages. It will bring you to closer proximity with God as you follow its leading. Yes, hide God’s Word in your heart that you may not sin against Him.
