Know the Truth

22. Know the Truth
We live in an era of lies. The saddest thing about these unprecedented times is that most people, including Christians, are quick to believe a lie. Look back at what we have believed and followed with concern and passion. Look at the individuals in whom we placed our hopes and trust. How truthful are they? If you were to weigh them in God’s holy balances would you find them honest and full of integrity? To stand and perpetuate a theater of lies is to set up a platform for the deceptive schemes of Satan and the antichrist without knowing.
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:31-32

There is a price to be paid by those who desire to know God intimately. Those who believe on Him must continue in Him. They have to stay with the Word. Truth if found by digging treasure from God’s Word. Truth once found liberates and sets you free.

There are many false teachers who target the flock of God. They present distorted truths with adequate hooks to deceive the elect of God. For what are you passionate? What does God’s Word say about it? Is it fundamental Bible truth or traditional fables mixed with fallacies?
Christ knowing what would befall the church in latter days prayed saying, “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” John 17:16-17. Devote time to study God’s Word to know the truth.
