13. Strategically Placed
God draws and demarcates boundary lines for all His children. He knows when and where to birth us in order to fulfill His holy purposes. He orchestrates events to rightfully shape and conform us to desired vessels. It is not surprising that God refers to His children as clay in the hands of the Porter. (Jeremiah 18, Isaiah 64:8) Pliable clay in the hands of the great Maker acknowledges the power of the Molder and yields to His training and conditioning. It comes off the Porter’s wheel shining like a precious jewel ready to execute God’s purposes with eternal power and anointing.
Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. Psalm 103:1-5
A young orphan girl was raised and strategically placed where an entire race could be saved in the history of the Jews. Esther, the Bible says, obtained favor in the sight of all them that looked upon her (Esther 2:15b). She was chosen to be queen in place of Queen Vashti who had disgraced the king. Mordecai, Esther’s uncle, challenged her at the opportune time saying, “And who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14
Has God lavished His love, mercy, and kindness on you in exceptional ways? He is sovereign. Your being where you are at this point is divinely appointed. Remember, no misfortune is too unfortunate for the great and powerful molding hands of God. Serve Him.
