6. There Is Stability in God
It is common to align ourselves with leaders and friends who speak our language while representing our thoughts, beliefs and actions. When they speak, we find our place in their lines as we duck under their protective wings. However, God who is interested in our personal relationship with Him and our living good quality life, has a way of taking such people away from our lives. God does this because of His deep love for us. He sees how anchoring ourselves on such sandy and shaky foundations leave us unstable in Him. Our unstable hearts become a threat to our peace, health and fulfillment in life, let alone serving God.

They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even forever. Psalm 125:1-2

There is stability in God. God puts His hedge of protection around those who trust in Him. God promises to surround and fortify you thus making it hard for your enemies to get to you if you trust in Him. He will not allow the wicked to overtake and harass you. He has power to frustrate and overthrow their plans while sheltering an preserving you.

God will watch over you as you go and come back each day. Your safety is a priority to Him. It is God who cares for you. He defends you every day. You are no match for the devil with his schemes. Left on your own, you would never make it successfully any single day. Together with the Psalmist, you, too, can say, “My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” You are safe in God.
