1. Welcome to a Brand-New Year
This new year did not take God by surprise. God is not wondering what to do with you either. He has good plans for you in this new year. He has a purpose for your life.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11

Happy New Year! It is God’s pleasure to renew His mercy upon your life as you begin this year. Let this be a year of spiritual growth. Make it a year where you will endeavor to listen, follow, and learn from God. God has good plans for you. He has engraved you in the palms of His hands. He has good thoughts about you. God’s desire is for you to walk hand in hand with Him as you go through life. He wants to prosper and not to harm you. His plans are aimed at giving you hope and a bright future.

Today is a brand-new day marking a brand-new year! Start afresh with God. Commit your fears, anxieties, weaknesses, and even past failures to Him. Let Him hold your hand and walk you through this year.

Memorize Jeremiah 29:11

2. You are Mine

Do not face this new year alone. You have a Savior and a Father who desires to walk with you as He guides each step you take throughout this year. You are God’s treasured possession. Look at how well He knows you according to His written Word to you.

Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:4-5

Today, as God looks at you, He can affirm His Word by saying, “You are mine.” God formed you and set you apart for Himself. You belong to Him. He wants you to serve Him. He wants you to live a fruitful life. Do not waste your life. Start off this year by committing your life into His hands. Let Him guide you today. Surrender to Him and ask Him to lead and show you how to live a victorious spiritual life that pleases Him.
We find true meaning in life when we anchor ourselves in Jesus Christ. He formed us. He knows us well enough to help us.

3. You are of Great Value
Are you questioning your value and wondering if you can make positive contribution to the world today? Are you struggling to find meaning in life? Do you desire to fit and feel that you belong?
You are of great value. Look at what God sees when He looks at you today!

For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. Psalm 139:13-16

God does not make junk. You are alive today because God formed you. God only creates people He needs. It does not matter what kind of a background you have. It does not matter the means through which you came into this world. You belong. You are God’s beloved child. He fashioned all the details of your life making you unique with a DNA and finger prints that no one else shares.
You are special to God. You are God’s child. Glorify Him. Live for Him.
